If you’re a student eager to gain real-world experience in your field, navigating the internship landscape can feel like a challenge. This is why, at Physik Alumni, we have put together a comprehensive online resource that might just make the journey smoother. Our “A Short Guide to Internships” breaks down the process of finding, applying for, and making the most of internships, with practical tips tailored especially for students at the Faculty.
One of the resources in the guide we would like to highlight is the list of companies. In it, our students can search through more than one hundred possible employers, all based on suggestions from alumni and the companies they work for. Using the search function in the table, students can look through the “physics-related” tags to find companies in areas they are interested in.
We aim to make the guide an ever-evolving resource. If you have any suggestions for companies or sections that should be covered, please contact us at physik.alumni(at)univie.ac.at.
